Lawrence P. Bancroft – President & CEO
Lawrence
is a founding partner of Bivium Capital Partners. He heads the
investment committee, and is responsible for product development,
portfolio construction, and manager search and due diligence. Prior to
founding Bivium, Lawrence was employed at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in
New York in the Investment Management Division. He was one of the first
members of Goldman Sachs' external manager selection team and was
involved in all aspects of the development of the group's fund of funds
business. Lawrence attended Cornell University where he received his BS
from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations, and his MPA from
Cornell University School of Public Affairs.
Margaret Jadallah – Managing Director, Director of Research
Margaret is responsible for directing Bivium’s manager research and due
diligence effort across products and asset classes. Her responsibilities
at the firm also include client servicing, portfolio construction assistance,
manager performance monitoring and new product development. Margaret has over
20 years of investment experience, the majority of which has been spent
performing due diligence on, hiring, and monitoring investment managers
in all traditional asset classes. Prior to joining Bivium in December 2008,
she was a Principal at Harris myCFO where she was responsible for consulting
to ultra high net worth individuals on both traditional and alternative investments.
Before that, she spent 13 years as Director of Manager Research at Strategic
Investment Solutions where she helped place over $10 billion of assets with
external managers on behalf of SIS’ large, institutional clients. She also served
as a generalist consultant to several of SIS’ plan sponsor clients, helping them to
determine optimal asset allocation, manager structure and manager selection and
provided performance measurement services. Prior experience includes four years
spent at Callan Associates as Vice President in their Manager Research group.
Margaret has a BA in Economics from Smith College and a MBA in Finance from Haas
School of Business, UC Berkeley.
Sabrina Brutus –
Chief Compliance Officer, Vice President Operations
Sabrina serves as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer and
Vice President of Operations. She is responsible for the daily
operations of the firm, including managing the client reporting process
and serving as the primary operations liaison to the managers. Prior to
joining Bivium Capital, Sabrina was employed at Ernst & Young LLP
in the legal department, where she worked with a team of accountants to
provide comprehensive accounting services for the partners of the firm.
Her subsequent experiences include retail accounting for Coach, Kenneth
Cole and Linens ‘n Things, and more recently brand consulting for
Siegel & Gale, a corporate branding and communications firm where
she consulted various clients including American Express, Air Force,
NetJets and Renaissance Hotels. Sabrina’s responsibilities included
providing strategic guidance for the overall development of each
client’s brand, developing marketing materials and new products and
services and implementing marketing programs. Sabrina is a member of
the National Society of Compliance Professionals, Inc.
